Youth Digital Month is back!
Montreal, January 27, 2025 – Youth Digital Month (MNJ) returns from 1ᵉʳ to February 28, 2025 for its 6ᵉ edition! Under the inspiring theme “Your culture, your identity!”, MNJ invites young people and the general public to explore the digital universe and reflect on its impact on cultural creation and consumption. Since 2019, this program has brought together over 25,000 young people across Quebec every February, thanks to the support of over 50 collaborators. On the program: workshops, interactive experiences, exhibitions, shows and much more to discover technologies and develop your digital skills.
Season 3 of the Empreinte numérique podcast returns!
In support of this year’s theme, Printemps numérique, in collaboration with Télé-Québec en classe, is proud to announce the launch of a new season of the Empreinte numérique podcast. Hosted by Tom-Éliot Girard, in the company of teenagers and experts, three new episodes will be released each week starting February 13. Young people, and those around them, will be able to learn about the issues of discoverability of cultural content, creation and how they recognize themselves in the digital age!
Season 3 of the Empreinte numérique podcast was recorded in the studios of the Grande Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ), thanks to their invaluable collaboration.
This new season will feature the voices of 6 teenagers and 3 experts:
- Lysandre Champagne – Author of the Enquête québécoise sur la découverte des produits culturels et le numérique (Quebec survey on the discovery of cultural products and digital technology)
- Banx & Ranx – Duo of Quebec artists and producers who collaborate with international stars
- Farah Brixi – Video game character designer (Narrative Designer).
