Digital Youth Month 2025 – Call for Participation

Digital Youth Month (DYM) is back for its 6th edition, running from February 1 to 28, 2025! This annual initiative, launched by Printemps numérique, invites institutions, organizations, and businesses to collaborate in promoting the development of digital skills among youth under the age of 35. This year’s theme, Your Culture, Your Identity!, will explore the challenges and impact of digital technology on cultural creation and consumption.

Become a contributor for Digital Youth Month 2025!

DYM 2025 is a key moment in the year to inspire and empower young people to develop their digital skills and explore future-oriented fields. As a contributor, you’ll benefit from a province-wide campaign highlighting your initiatives registered on the DYM platform, whether or not they align with this year’s theme. Whether you offer workshops, educational resources, or interactive exhibits, DYM is the perfect opportunity to showcase your expertise, inspire young minds, and encourage a positive reflection on the opportunities offered by digital technology.

Pre-registration by December 20, 2024 | Final deadline: January 15, 2025*
*Activities or resources registered by December 20 will be featured in the event launch communications.

Digital Youth Month offers a unique opportunity to showcase your initiative to youth, educators, youth workers, and parents.

By participating, you:

  • Join a dynamic ecosystem for digital literacy.
  • Help promote the possibilities of digital technology in a positive, creative, ethical, and responsible way.
  • Gain visibility on the DYM and Printemps numérique platforms.
  • Can host a young journalist to cover your activities.
  • Participate in the MTL Tech Awards in October 2025 (if your activities meet YDM criteria, the organizing team will submit your candidacy!).

Criteria for Becoming a Contributor

Participating organizations must:

  • Work with Quebec youth under the age of 35.
  • Offer digital activities or resources that foster the development of skills and civic values in the digital age. For activities, they must take place at least partially during February.
  • Commit to promoting the DYM 2025 campaign before and during the event:
    • Share the official campaign post for Digital Youth Month 2025.
    • Share the announcement of your registered activity or resource on the platform www.mnj.quebec.

Key Dates

  • December 20, 2024: Pre-registration to showcase your activities/resources during the launch
  • January 15, 2025: Final deadline to register and submit your activities/resources
  • January 22, 2025: Official launch of Digital Youth Month
  • February 1–28, 2025: Activity implementation

You will receive confirmation of your participation within a week of registration.
