Montreal, July 20, 2022 ― Montreal Digital Spring (Printemps Numérique) is proud to announce the appointment of Erandy Vergara, artistic director of Montreal Digital Spring, to the ISEA International Board of Directors. Erandy was appointed to the position of Chair of the Board of Directors of ISEA International on July 1, 2022, after her time serving as programming director of ISEA2020, which was organized by PN in Montreal. Erandy is happy to continue her role as the artistic director of Montreal Digital Spring during her tenure on the Board of Directors of ISEA.

“We are happy to see that after all these years that Erandy has actively contributed to the development and growth of the Montreal media arts community, she will also occupy this prestigious international position for the next few years, and thus contribute to building the future of ISEA”

said Mehdi Benboubakeur, Managing Director of Montreal Digital Spring.

The nomination took place following Vergara’s participation in ISEA2022, held in Barcelona from June 10 to 16, 2022, where she presented the artistic vision of Montreal Digital Spring, including the pressing themes of climate responsibility, as well as diversity.

Over the coming year, the Board of Directors at ISEA will review ISEA’s operations and strategy. “It will set a path forward that, building on its strong history, provides a sustainable and exciting future”
