Call for speakers: Shaping the digital future at MTL connect 2024

Montreal, February 20, 2024 — MTL connect: Montreal Digital Week is back for its 6th edition, taking place from October 15th to 18th, 2024, at l’École NAD-UQAC (Montréal). Montreal Digital Spring (PN) invites you to submit your application to present workshops, conferences, and panel discussions around the main theme: METAMORPHOSIS.




This year, the MTL connect program will embrace the main theme of METAMORPHOSIS to explore how technological advancements and innovative collaborations can transform our world. The diversity and impact of digital transformation will be celebrated through workshops, conferences, and panel discussions. Cutting-edge projects and cross-border collaborations will be highlighted throughout this edition.




MTL connect 2024 is an opportunity to come together and actively participate in this evolution. Speakers and participants are invited to explore how emerging technologies, AI, cybersecurity enhancement, innovative education, culture, and digital art can combine to forge a promising and inclusive future. Each initiative becomes a transformation, each voice, a driving force, illustrating how action can truly shape the future of digital. 2024 Topics

Intelligence artificielle

Presented on Wednesday, October 15th, this topic will explore the advancements and potential applications of AI in various fields. Ethical considerations and challenges associated with AI, including bias, governance, and privacy concerns, will also be addressed.

Culture & Creativity

Presented on Wednesday, October 15th, this topic will highlight the impact of technology on cultural and creative industries. The content will explore how technology can enrich artistic and cultural expression, and how creativity can influence technological development.


Presented on Thursday, October 16th, this topic will emphasize the importance of security in an increasingly digital world. It will cover issues related to data protection, digital identity, and emerging threats in cyberspace.

Education & Digital Inclusion

Presented on Thursday, October 16th, this theme will highlight the importance of equitable access to technology and digital education. It will explore ways to reduce the digital divide and promote digital inclusion to ensure that the benefits of the digital revolution are accessible to all.


Call for speakers

Montreal Digital Spring (PN) is issuing a call to leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, creators, and specialists in digital and technological tools who are passionate about one or more of the 4 topics. Whether you are involved in research or in the development of new ideas on the uses and impacts of digital technology, submit your application before April 26, 2024, at midnight (EST).
