Afro Tech 2025: a networking space for Afro-descendant actors in the tech ecosystem

On June 18th, Afro Tech 2025 brought together 117 participants at the CRIM for an exciting evening of networking, discussions, and inspiration. Powered by Printemps numérique, this 5@9 highlighted the richness, diversity, and vibrancy of the Afro-descendant community in the tech sector.
A rich and inspiring program
Three captivating panels shaped the evening, offering impactful insights and concrete pathways to advance projects and ideas:
- From Idea to Success: a panel of inspiring journeys, featuring entrepreneurs who shared the key steps to their success and the lessons learned from their experiences.
- Innovation and Social Impact: a discussion on the fundamental role technology can play in community initiatives.
- Female Entrepreneurship in AI: a powerful conversation about the challenges and opportunities for Afro-descendant women in artificial intelligence.
Each speaker highlighted exceptional expertise, challenged established models, and opened new perspectives for emerging talent.
Towards a more inclusive tech ecosystem
Printemps numérique is convinced that the future of technology depends on the diversity of voices shaping it. It is with this vision that Afro Tech was launched – an event designed to address a vital need: showcasing the talents, initiatives, and expertise of Afro-descendants in the tech sector.
By facilitating access to resources, networks, and opportunities, Printemps numérique is helping to build a more equitable, representative, and resolutely inclusive digital ecosystem.
