On November 18, the Qu\u00e9bec Digital Literacy Roundtable, organized by Printemps num\u00e9rique, brought together at NAD-UQAC School a community of experts, researchers, and professionals committed to building a healthy and safe digital culture for young people in Qu\u00e9bec. Throughout the day, one central question guided the discussions: How can we help young people develop the digital skills essential to their safety and well-being?<\/span><\/p>\n

A Day of Welcoming and Collaboration<\/span><\/h2>\n

The day was coordinated by Printemps num\u00e9rique, in collaboration with Albane Fran\u00e7ais (<\/span>SYNTH\u00c8SE<\/span><\/a>), a member of the Roundtable. Manuelle Freire and Jocelyn Benoit from <\/span>NAD-UQAC<\/span><\/a> School ensured on-site support and hospitality, allowing participants to discover the school\u2019s digital creation spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talks and Highlights<\/span><\/h2>\n

In her presentation, Laureline Chiapello (<\/span>CREAT Chair<\/span><\/a>) shed light on inclusion, well-being, and responsible practices in video game design. Alix Jasmin Morissette (<\/span>Cybercap<\/span><\/a>) led a workshop on cybersecurity, allowing participants to explore young people\u2019s realities and needs in the digital world.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the afternoon, Amina Yagoubi and Agathe Paigneau (Printemps num\u00e9rique) presented the <\/span>Cyberbullying Prevention Competency Framework<\/b>, a tool structured around four dimensions: society, individual, education, and justice. The participatory workshop that followed identified concrete actions to prevent cyberbullying.<\/span><\/p>\n
