Montreal, September 26, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 More than 200 leading figures \u2014 including Nobel and Turing laureates, former heads of state, and ministers \u2014 as well as around fifty international organizations, are launching the Global Call for Red Lines on Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>. Presented on the occasion of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, this initiative aims to encourage governments to agree, by 2026, on international red lines to prevent universally unacceptable risks associated with AI development.<\/p>\n Signatories include economists Joseph Stiglitz<\/strong> and Daron Acemo\u011flu<\/strong>, AI researchers Yoshua Bengio<\/strong> and Geoffrey Hinton<\/strong>, Mary Robinson<\/strong> (former President of Ireland), Enrico Letta<\/strong> (former Italian Prime Minister), Csaba K\u0151r\u00f6si<\/strong> (77th President of the UN General Assembly), and Mehdi Benboubakeur<\/strong>, co-founder and CEO of Printemps num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n “Digital innovation must first and foremost serve humanity \u2014 to build an inclusive, ethical, and sustainable future.
