Presented on the occasion of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, this initiative aims to encourage governments to agree, by 2026, on international red lines to prevent universally unacceptable risks associated with AI development.<\/p>\n<p>Signatories include economists <strong data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"743\">Joseph Stiglitz<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"766\">Daron Acemo\u011flu<\/strong>, AI researchers <strong data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"800\">Yoshua Bengio<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"824\">Geoffrey Hinton<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"843\">Mary Robinson<\/strong> (former President of Ireland), <strong data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"891\">Enrico Letta<\/strong> (former Italian Prime Minister), <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"941\">Csaba K\u0151r\u00f6si<\/strong> (77th President of the UN General Assembly), and <strong data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1013\">Mehdi Benboubakeur<\/strong>, co-founder and CEO of Printemps num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1343\">&#8220;Digital innovation must first and foremost serve humanity \u2014 to build an inclusive, ethical, and sustainable future.
