As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms the way we learn, create, and communicate, <\/span>Montreal Digital Spring<\/span><\/a> unveils <\/span>IA & Toi<\/b>, a brand-new, completely free educational platform designed to <\/span>empower young people<\/b> and help them <\/span>become informed digital citizens<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a context where AI is becoming an integral part of students’ daily lives, often without them fully understanding how it works, <\/span>IA & Toi<\/b> offers a concrete and inclusive response to one of the major challenges of our time: <\/span>equipping future generations to think, create, and act critically in a constantly evolving digital world<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Integrating IA & Toi into the school curriculum means contributing to reducing digital inequalities<\/b><\/p>\n

A 2024 KPMG study shows that <\/span>59% of Canadian students use generative AI for their schoolwork<\/b> and that <\/span>67% believe they are learning less by relying on it<\/b> (source: <\/span>KPMG<\/span><\/a>). This finding highlights the lack of digital literacy, particularly in remote areas and Indigenous communities that are already disadvantaged by the digital divide.<\/span><\/p>\n

IA & Toi<\/b> aims to address this need by providing young people with <\/span>the tools to understand AI, question its impact on their daily lives<\/b>, and develop critical thinking skills about algorithms and the flow of information.<\/span><\/p>\n
