Presented by Montreal Digital Spring, the 7th edition of the Digital Youth Month 2025 was held under the theme <\/span>“Your Culture, Your Identity!”<\/b> from February 1 to 28. With the involvement of <\/span>32 collaborators<\/b>, a total of <\/span>147 online resources<\/b> and <\/span>108 activities<\/b> were offered to help develop the digital skills and knowledge of young people across Quebec. Contributors also supported the campaign by encouraging youth to reflect on the impact of digital technologies on cultural content discovery, creation, and online diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the flagship projects of this 7th edition, the third season of the podcast series <\/span>Empreinte num\u00e9rique<\/b>, produced in collaboration with <\/span>T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec en classe<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>BAnQ<\/span><\/a>, stood out by giving a voice to high school students, artists, and experts. To address the challenges of cultural discoverability and youth representation, it is essential to foster civic participation and promote a digital education that is critical, creative, and inclusive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Montreal Digital Spring promotes digital literacy initiatives that benefit young Quebecers, whether through Digital Youth Month or the Youth digital literacy recognition award.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once again this year, businesses, institutions, organizations, and schools are invited to submit a project in the <\/span>digital youth literacy <\/b>category. Three finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects and compete for an award at the<\/span> MTL Tech Awards<\/span><\/a> innovation contest, taking place October 28\u201331, 2025, as part of MTL connecte. This is a unique opportunity to gain visibility and connect with over 300 digital entrepreneurs, thinkers, and decision-makers.<\/span><\/p>\n
