Printemps num\u00e9rique<\/a> (Montreal Digital Spring) is delighted to present a summary of Digital Youth\u00a0Month<\/a>\u00a02024<\/a>\u00a0(DYM), whose theme was\u00a0\u201cTOGETHER FOR EQUITABLE ACCESS\u201d<\/strong>. This edition was distinguished by the participation of\u00a051 collaborators<\/strong>, a program of\u00a0100 activities<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0112 online resources<\/strong>, all of which contributed to raising awareness and equipping Quebec’s youth.<\/p>\n

AI, digital sobriety and algorithms:
\ndiscover how to better equip our young people!<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

To mark the occasion, Printemps num\u00e9rique (Montreal Digital Spring) launched the second season of the Empreinte numerique podcast<\/a>, in partnership with\u00a0T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec en classe<\/a><\/em>. The aim is to inform and equip young people on current topics: artificial intelligence, digital sobriety and algorithms. To achieve this, the host duo Douaa Kachache and Tom-\u00c9liot have enlisted the help of 3 experts and 8 teenagers to share their perspectives and discuss these essential subjects.<\/p>\n

The episodes are available\u00a0(only in french)\u00a0for free listening on the\u00a0Digital Youth\u00a0Month\u00a0website<\/a>, on\u00a0Spotify<\/a>\u00a0and on\u00a0T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec en classe<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>platform for teachers.<\/p>\n

Printemps num\u00e9rique (Montreal Digital Spring) highlights digital literacy initiatives for young Quebecers, whether through the Digital Youth Month or the Youth Digital Literacy Recognition Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Once again this year, companies, institutions, organizations and schools can apply in the Education, Citizenship or Culture categories. Finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects and win prizes at the\u00a0MTL Tech Awards<\/a>\u00a0innovation competition, taking place\u00a0on October 15 and 17<\/strong>\u00a0as part of MTL connect. A unique opportunity to gain exposure and meet over 300 digital entrepreneurs, thinkers and decision-makers.<\/p>\n
