It aims to\u00a0<strong>raise awareness of digital opportunities<\/strong>\u00a0among\u00a0<strong>young people and their environments<\/strong>. It is also an opportunity to introduce them to\u00a0<strong>Quebec&#8217;s digital literacy initiatives<\/strong>\u00a0and the careers of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>For this new edition, a <strong>programming platform will be launched with a multitude of activities and resources<\/strong>\u00a0for youth and their communities.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, the main theme that will be highlighted is &#8220;<strong>transparency<\/strong>&#8220;, one of the issues of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.printempsnumerique.ca\/je-mengage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.printempsnumerique.ca\/je-mengage\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1637677483718000&amp;usg=AOvVaw19_dqCeu47WLprG-JmZEsQ\">Citizen&#8217;s Charter for the Digital Age<\/a>, developed in collaboration with the Commission on Ethics in Science and Technology. All users should be able to access understandable information about the processing, the distribution and the storage of their data.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/shrdhSIORothkxTkN\">BECOME A COLLABORATOR<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><u><strong>Participation Objectives and Benefits:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>To present an activity that mobilizes the participation of youth and their environments;<\/li>\n<li>Bringing together a pan-Quebec community of practice in digital literacy ;<\/li>\n<li>On the occasion of Digital Youth Month, to offer an activity that contributes to inclusion, equality of opportunities and the development of digital and critical skills of young citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><u><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Working, in particular, with a youth clientele;<\/li>\n<li>Representing an institution, an educational environment, an organization or a company established in Quebec;<\/li>\n<li>Offering an activity or a resource that allows the development of digital skills of young people (see some examples below);<\/li>\n<li>Subscribing\u00a0to the values and issues of the Charter for Citizenship in the Digital Age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Who is the Digital Youth Month intended for?<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All young people under 35 years old who want to explore the possibilities of digital technology, develop their technical skills and knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Youth targeted by age groups:<br \/>\n&#8211; Children (12 and under)<br \/>\n&#8211; Teens (13-17 years old)<br \/>\n&#8211; Young adults (18 and older)<\/li>\n<li>Girls<\/li>\n<li>Indigenous youth<\/li>\n<li>Young people in school environments (from elementary to higher education)<\/li>\n<li>Families and the general public<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>What types of activities and resources can be submitted?<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Workshops and trainings\u00a0\u273a\u00a0Conferences\u00a0\u273a\u00a0Discovery\u00a0\u273a\u00a0Exhibitions\u00a0\u273a\u00a0Show<wbr \/>s \u273a Video games\u00a0\u273a\u00a0Hackathon\u00a0\u273a\u00a0Careers\u00a0\u273a\u00a0<wbr \/>Digital resources for youth<br \/>\n\u273a\u00a0Digital resources for speakers and the general public<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Examples of activities:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/grandirsansfrontieres.org\/projets-speciaux\/dejouezia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/grandirsansfrontieres.org\/projets-speciaux\/dejouezia\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1637677483718000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3z2R1J2ytxsl8MB89wgUiu\">D\u00c9JOUEZ L&#8217;I.A.
