Montreal, March 11, 2021 <\/b>\u2014\u00a0 <\/span>The third edition of <\/span>MTL connect: Montreal Digital Week<\/span><\/i> will be held from October 12 to 17, 2021 in a hybrid format. On this occasion, Montreal Digital Spring (Printemps num\u00e9rique) invites you to <\/span>submit your application<\/span><\/a> before April 18, 2021<\/b> to present: conferences, discussion panels and workshops on the central theme of <\/span>RENAISSANCE<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

MTL connect is an international event that democratizes the issues and challenges of digital transformation at the technological, economic, social, cultural, and environmental levels. By <\/span>digital transformation<\/b>, we mean: “the cultural, organizational and operational change of an organization, sector or ecosystem through intelligent integration of digital technologies, processes and skills at all levels and functions in a progressive and strategic manner”.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the current pandemic, governments, businesses, civil society, and individuals have faced an unprecedented global crisis. The challenge for them is to be resilient in the face of adversity.<\/span><\/p>\n

This period saw a massive acceleration of digital transformation across all sectors to meet pressing priorities, while creating a degree of “normalcy” in spite of confinement and social distancing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, we need to look beyond resilience and enter a new era. A period of profound transformation that signals renewal, a paradigm shift towards a prosperous future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Historically, the Renaissance marked the transition between the Middle Ages and modern times, characterized by numerous upheavals and paradigm shifts, both scientific and social. Our RENAISSANCE today can be a time of transition, where we release the uncertainty and fear caused by the pandemic and move into a new, reimagined normality. A normality that draws on the lessons of the past, embraces today’s technological advances and faces the challenges of tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n
